Beans are a legume rich in magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and zinc. 100 grams of beans contain almost half the recommended daily intake of iron. They are also rich in folic acid. Beans are an excellent food rich in valuable nutrients, which are ideal for the fasting diet.

Growing beans is easy. Beans should be grown in a sunny and sheltered spot. A loamy, neutral PH soil with clay or sandy loam is best. In addition to a light fertilization with organic fertilizers in autumn, mineral fertilizers should be added.
