Azureum is one of the most special varieties of Azureum because of its inflorescence, which consists of blossoms arranged in the shape of blue bells, with a wider aperture compared to other varieties. The aesthetic effect is wonderful if the bulbs are grouped together with other varieties of flowers.

The bulbs can be planted in sunny or semi-shaded areas and sunlight is essential to maximise the colour of the flowers. Whether you choose to plant the bulbs in pots or directly in the garden, the ideal substrate for best flowering will be a substrate of medium moisture and fertility, as well as a good drainage system to avoid stagnant water. Too much humidity can severely damage the health of the plant and cause root rot. Water sparingly to keep the soil moist during growth and flowering. Reduce the amount of water once the flowers have wilted. Flowers generally prefer soil that provides them with nutrients for abundant flowering. If they are not present in the soil from the start, one or two feedings are recommended during the flowering and growth period. Water-soluble, liquid and time-released fertilisers are favoured.
