Alpine forget-me-not

Alpine Daisy is a hardy biennial plant. The flowers are scented, flaccid and no larger than 5 mm in diameter. It has no particular soil requirements. It grows in a sunny to moderately shady position. It is not afraid of drought and spring frosts. The seeds are sown in May-June and the seedlings are moved to their permanent location in autumn. The seeds germinate within 2 weeks. It blooms profusely for 30-40 days. The plant usually self-seeds. Planted in vegetable gardens, flowerbeds, balconies and pots. The flowers are suitable for picking, in combination with roses and guboys.
