Yellowish St. John's wort

A perennial herb and medicinal plant. The leaves, which have a smell and taste reminiscent of celery, are used for food. Yarrow is suitable for soups, salads, sauces, fish and meat dishes. A decoction of the roots eases expectoration and improves digestion.

Yarrow seeds sown in autumn germinate in April. It grows best in the undergrowth or in a sunny position on clay soil. Cut the flowers 1-2 times during the season so you always have young, fresh leaves.
