Tulips Pink impression Tulips bloom in April and May. Tulips are planted in mid-September to early October, depending on the autumn weather. The most suitable soil temperature is 7–10 °C, and the soil must be sufficiently moist. The planting depth and density depend on the size of the tulip bulb. The general rule is that tulips are planted at a depth of three bulb heights, slightly shallower in heavy soils and deeper in light soils. Tulip bulbs are dug up every year. Only small ones (if not damaged by disease) can be dug up every other year. The best time to dig up tulips is when the lower leaves are not yet completely dry (this will be at different times for different tulips). These tulips are 55 cm tall and should be planted at a depth of 15 cm. Tulip bulbs are planted 10 cm apart. Soil type: Suitable for all types of soil that is not too moist. Humus can be added if necessary. Care: water immediately after planting and maintain soil moisture during growth. Protect spring-flowering bulbous flowers from severe frosts under a layer of peat, and keep summer-flowering ones at a temperature not lower than 0°C. Support: Support tall-growing bulbous flowers during growth. |
