Parade climbing rose description:

The flowers of ‘Parade’ are large, double, and bright pink, growing on a wide, tall, and vigorous shrub. This variety establishes easily in a new location and grows quickly. The plant can reach up to 3 m in height and 2 m in width.

The stems are thin but flexible, which helps protect the flowers even during heavy rain—water does not accumulate but runs off easily. The blooms are set against dark green, glossy, fine foliage.

The buds are oval-shaped. The plant blooms gradually and continuously, producing cup-shaped flowers up to 10 cm in diameter, consisting of 30–35 petals. The fragrance is light and pleasant.

This variety blooms abundantly and for a long period—throughout the entire season with short breaks. In the first year after planting, flowering may be weaker, but it improves significantly in the second year.

Growing conditions & care:

  • Ideal for planting near supports, walls, columns, or fences
  • Grows well in sandy and loamy soil
  • Prefers moderately moist soil
  • Optimal soil pH: 6–6.5

Remove all faded flowers and flower clusters. Water regularly during summer—preferably in the morning or evening. Avoid wetting leaves and flowers.

Prune in early spring or late autumn. Cover remaining shoots with soil, peat, or sawdust to protect the plant from frost.
